WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — Watauga and Ashe County schools will be dismissing early due to the threat of severe weather.
Watauga County schools will be dismissing K-8 schools at 12pm and high school at 1pm.
Ashe County schools will be dismissing elementary schools at 12pm, middle schools at 12:30pm and high schools at 1pm.
There is a high possibility of severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.
