CHARLOTTE, NC — A line of showers and storms are expected to move across the region this evening as a cold front pushes across the area.

A few of the storms could turn severe. The biggest threats will be damaging winds and hail. We also cannot rule out the possibility of an isolated tornado.
We can expect conditions across the area to return to normal by midnight.
