Shooting Investigation Underway In Matthews

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting took place on Melrose Cottage Drive shortly after 3pm. Officials say the victim ran to Longspur Drive after the shooting and was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for suspects, and so far they say no arrests have been made.
