Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed In North Charlotte Wreck

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a vehicle on W. T. Harris Boulevard on Monday night.

CMPD says Samuel Sarks Krikorian, 40, died at CMC-Main after the crash.

According to authorities, Krikorian was operating a Yamaha motorcycle traveling east on W.T. Harris, when he collided with the right side of a Chevrolet Malibu attempting to make a left from westbound W.T. Harris onto Northlake West Drive.

The driver of the Malibu was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation and police say speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
