CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating after they say two students at a northwest Mecklenburg middle school sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
The incident was reported Thursday at the Whitewater Middle School on Running Rapids Road. Detectives say a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by two other male students who were also under the age of 16.
Police say charges are pending and NC Law prohibits the names of juvenile, under 16, suspects and victims from being released.
This investigation is ongoing.
