Man Arrested For Southeast Charlotte Homicide

UPDATE: Police have charged Treymaine Johnson with the murder of David Christian Jr.

Johnson was taken into custody early Friday morning.  He has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating a homicide on North Wendover Road after a man was shot Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Carson David Christian Jr.

Police say the shooting happened just before 9pm at the Hampton Creste Apartments. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic.

No arrests have been made, and police have not given any information regarding a suspect.
