LINCOLNTON, NC — Deputies have charged Wayne Cogdell with two felony counts of Taking Indecent Liberties with a Child. 
According to reports, Cogdell, 37, of Stanley was arrested Saturday on charges of inappropriately touching a kindergarten girl on March 3rd. Officials say Cogdell is related to the victim.
Cogdell was arrested at his home and placed under a $100,000 secured bond. He is currently on the Sex Offender Registry after being convicted of taking indecent liberties with a child back in 2002, according to officials.
