Lincoln County Woman Wanted For Assault With A Deadly Weapon

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A Lincoln County man has been arrested and a woman is wanted after police say the pair assaulted a man in Lincolnton.

Authorities say Macy Jordan Walker, 23, is wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury and Felony Conspiracy to Commit Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury .

Austin Shane McCutcheon, 18,  also known as “Cutta” was arrested on March 25, 2017, and charged with Felony Conspiracy to Commit Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury

According to Lincolnton Police, officers responded to a welfare check on a victim walking on North General’s Boulevard on March 23, 2017.

Responding officers located a male victim with apparent head injuries caused by a blunt object.  Medic transported the victim to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and released.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined Macy Walker assaulted the victim with a tire tool or a baseball bat.  Police say McCutcheon drove Walker to and from the location of the assault.

“Both McCutcheon and Walker have an extensive history of criminal activity starting at an earlyage. This act of coordinated violence committed by the both of them shows their disregard for the personal welfare of others”, says Lt. Jason Munday of the Lincolnton Police Department.

Walker has pending felony charges in Lincoln County for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Jail and Felony Larceny by Removal of an Anti-Theft Device in which she is currently out on bond.  She is known to frequent the Lincolnton Crouse area and has family in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

McCutcheon has other felony charges pending in Lincoln County in which he was out on bond including  Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine and Continuing Criminal Enterprise.
