MARSHVILLE, NC — Deputies arrested a 35-year-old Wadesboro man Monday morning after he was caught inside a woman’s home during a break-in.
Officials say the victim called around 9:35am saying that a man had broken into her home. When deputies arrived, they found Chadwick Owens inside the victim’s home. According to reports, Owens was in the process of stealing several items, including prescription drugs, jewelry, and guns.
Investigators say Owens broke into the home through a rear window.
Owens was arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
