Suspicious Person Call Leads To Drug Arrests In Lincoln County
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Investigators say a suspicious person call in Iredell County lead them to a home where illegal drugs were being used by the occupants.
Deputies were checking the area of Reep’s Grove Church Road after someone reported that a person had left several camouflage bags on the ground in the area. Officers could not located the owner of the bags and went to several homes on Peeler Road to ask if neighbors knew anything about the suspicious person or the bags.
When officers arrived at a home on Peeler Road they claimed the door was open and they observed a woman with a lighter in one hand and a glass pipe in her other hand. Deputies identified themselves and were granted permission from the owner to search the home.
During the search, deputies found various illegal drugs including cocaine and liquid meth. They also reportedly seized drug paraphernalia including used and unused hypodermic needles, glass pipes and digital scales.
