WAXHAW, NC — A Waxhaw man was arrested Friday after FBI agents raided his home.
James Cox, 56, was arrested following the raid on his home on Cottonfield Drive around 10am. Officials say he and two other men are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering between January 2010 and January 2017.

If convicted on each charge, the men will face up to 20 years in federal prison. The homes of Cox and one other defendant will also be forfeited for alleged use to commit the crimes.
