Five Finalists Announced For Sounds Of The Queen City Competition

CHARLOTTE, NC — Mayor Jennifer Roberts announced the five finalists tonight for the Sounds of the Queen City competition.

Local budding musicians are one step closer to Charlotte stardom following Friday night’s announcement. To enter the competition, artists were required to submit an original R&B or rap song.

The chosen finalists will now perform that song Tuesday night in front of a panel of judges. The winner will then get to perform their song at the National League of Cities Conference in Novemeber.
