KANNAPOLIS, NC — Investigators are still trying to determine what started a house fire Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 10am fire crews responded to a house fire on East 21st Street. According to officials, crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the two story home.
Officials say no one was inside at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Investigators say they do not know what started the fire yet, but it appears to have been accidental.
