Preparations Underway For PGA Championship Coming To Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC — The PGA will be holding its championship for the first time in Charlotte this year, and preparations are already underway.
Plans are in place for moving more than 200,000 fans to and from Quail Hollow Club. The crowd is expected to be larger than the Wells Fargo Championship.
The PGA is also asking people to use the LYNX Blue Line, an UBER lot, and dedicated off-site parking to help ease congestion. Walking and biking to the championship is also encouraged, and officials say walk-in gates and bike racks will be available.
