Police Are Searching For Suspects In An East Charlotte Shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is looking for the suspects who shot a man on his way home from Church in east Charlotte.

Police say the shooting was part of an attempted robbery. According to the victim, three men jumped him at the Ashbrook Apartments on Eastway Drive just after 8:30pm Saturday. The victim says the bullet went through his shoulder and out his neck.

The victim doesn’t speak English, and says he could not understand the robbers’ demands.
