TEXAS — State lawmakers in Texas are reviving their version of North Carolina’s controversial bathroom bill.
Legislators have moved to ensure the bill will at least apply to public schools, by adding it onto legislation involving classroom safety and emergency planning.
By focusing only on schools, Texas is hoping to avoid the boycotts which hit North Carolina.
Many sports leagues and Hollywood stars are urging Texas to avoid the issue.
