IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Deputies arrested a 19-year-old man and charged him with multiple sex crimes, including ones against a minor.
Michael Amoedo was charged with two counts of First Degree Rape, two counts of First Degree Sexual Offense, two counts of Statutory Sexual Offense with a Child, and one count of Statutory Rape of a Child.
Officials say a report was filed on May 20th in reference to a child being assaulted by a family member. After an investigation into the incident and multiple interviews, deputies charged Amoedo.
Amoedo was given a $300,000 secure bond.
