CHARLOTTE N.C. — Eastway Drive at Sugar Creek has been shut down after a crash took down power lines early Thursday morning.
The crash occurred around 4:30 am when Police say a driver fell asleep at the week and hit a light pole.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident; however, it has left the light pole and surrounding power lines in the middle of the road.
