LINCOLNTON, NC — A 36-year-old woman is facing six felony counts of Financial Identity Theft after using a stolen EBT card in the Lincoln County and Cherryville areas.
According to reports, detectives used surveillance footage from several area business to identify Tiffany Goins as the suspect. Officials say Goins had used a stolen EBT card to make several purchases from those businesses.
The card was reported stolen from the victim’s mailbox on Bill Lynch Road on May 24.
Deputies say Goins turned herself in on June 1st and received a $9,000 secured bond.
