Teen Accused of Sexual Assault

CHARLOTTE, NC — A Charlotte man is in jail, accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl he met online. Police say the girl’s father found the 19-year-old with his daughter.

Victor Nunez is charged with first degree statutory rape. Police say Nunez took an Uber to the girl’s house late Wednesday night.

Early Thursday, the girl’s father found Nunez and his daughter outside their home. He confronted Nunez and detained him until police arrived.
