CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say two suspects are in custody after robbing a man at gunpoint, and then leading police on a chase.
According to reports, a man was robbed at gunpoint around 7:20pm off of Winterfield Place in east Charlotte. The suspects then took off in his Honda Accord, and were later spotted by CMPD officers on Morhead near I-77.
Officers say they attempted to stop the two suspects, but they took off. The chase involved CMPD, CMPD helicopter units, and NCSHP.
The suspects eventually got off of I-85 onto George Lyles Parkway, police say, and stopped the car. The suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
Police have not released the names of the suspects or the charges they are facing.
