State House Approves Bill Allowing Concealed Carry Without Permit

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The North Carolina House of Representatives approved House Bill 746 which allows gun owners to carry concealed weapons without a permit.

The vote passed 64-51 and now heads to the Senate.  If passed by the Senate, the bill will then have to be signed off by Governor Cooper.

The bill would also make it possible for 18-year-olds to buy pistols in North Carolina.  The legal age to purchase a gun, right now, in North Carolina is 21-years-old.
