LANCASTER, SC — Deputies are looking for the suspect that stole a van and two motorcycles early Thursday morning.
According to officials, the thefts happened between 4:00 and 4:30am on June 1st. Two 2007 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycles, one blue and one white, were taken from homes on Ashby Lane in Indian Land. Officials say witnesses saw two black males wearing black clothing and black gloves loading the white motorcycle into a white work van with no tag.
Deputies say a white 2013 Ford Econoline E-250 van was reported stolen later that morning. The van was taken from Auto Showcase of the Carolinas on Charlotte Highway around 4:15am, and less than a mile from Ashby Lane, according to reports.
Investigators say they believe this is the same van that was used in the motorcycle theft.
