Thieves Vandalize Multiple Vehicles At Two Union County Car Dealerships

UNION COUNTY, NC — An investigation is underway at two car dealerships in Union County to determine who vandalized and stole parts off of multiple vehicles overnight.

Deputies say a large number of vehicles at Metro Honda in Union County on W. Highway 74 had shattered windows and complete sets of wheels removed when employees arrived Tuesday morning. Across the street at Car Collections, deputies say they found several more vehicles broken into with the radios stolen out of them.

The total amount of damage and property loss is still being calculated, officials say.

Anyone with information is asked to call Union County Crime Stoppers at 704-283-5600 or the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 704-283-3789.
