President Trump Speaks After Shooting Of Congressman, Two Capitol Police Officers

President Donald Trump made a statement from the White House following the shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and two Capitol Police Officers at a baseball field in Virginia.

The suspect, 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson, of Illinois, has died.  Scalise was shot in the hip and had to undergo surgery.  However, he is expected to recover from his injuries.  There have not been any updates on the conditions of the two officers injured in the shooting.
