Fire Hydrants Being Installed In Mint Hill Neighborhood

MINT HILL, NC — Fire hydrants will soon be installed in Ashe Plantation after fire destroyed a house in March.

Firefighters had to truck in water from hydrants more than a mile away during that blaze. Residents say they have waited several years, but now Charlotte Water is installing the hydrants.

The installation is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of July.
