‘Twilight Camp’ Teaches Cub Scouts To Channel Energy In More Positive And Productive Ways
CHARLOTTE, NC — There’s a special Cub Scout camp in west Charlotte that aims to help stop youth violence.
Dozens of Boy Scouts took part in “Twilight Camp,” which is a week long adventure where kids learned non-traditional sports like lacrosse and disc golf.
The boys are part of a special initiative division of scouting which aims to help youth re-direct their energy in a more positive and productive way.
The camp also featured a guest speaker from the Levine Cancer Institute who came to teach the boys about sun safety during the summer.
