Lancaster Man Charged With Burglarizing Two Local Businesses

LANCASTER, SC — A Lancaster County man faces burglary charges after officials say he broke into two local businesses.

James Alman, 48, is charged with two counts of Burglary Second Degree. According to reports, Alman broke into Christian Services on Great Falls Highway around 10:45pm Saturday. Police say a small amount of money, cell phone, clothes, shoes, and toothpaste were taken.

On Monday, Alman turned himself in and confessed to the break-in.

Officials say on Tuesday they learned that Alman was also responsible for a break-in at Bubbles and Blades on Great Falls Highway early Monday morning. Deputies say they had been called out to the store around 7:40am, but nothing was missing.

Alman was denied bond for the Christian Services burglary, but has not yet had a bond hearing for Bubbles and Blades.
