9 Of 15 Suspects Arrested During Lancaster Drug Roundup

LANCASTER, SC — Lancaster County Drug Task Force agents, investigators, and deputies arrested nine out of 15 people wanted for drug charges Thursday.

The arrests came after an investigation into drugs being sold throughout the county over a three-month period. Officials say nine of the suspects were found and arrested, but six are still wanted.

Drugs being distributed included cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and schedule I and II controlled substances.

Officials say eight other charges were made on five other subjects during Thursday’s operations, but those individuals were issued uniform traffic tickets and were not taken into custody. Those offenses included Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving Under Suspension, Driving without a License, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Disregarding a Stop Sign or Signal. Officials say they also recovered a stolen pressure washer during a traffic stop.
