UPDATE: Police have arrested Davaughia Snipes and charged him with the June 25th murder of Jimmy Robbs, Jr.
Officials say Snipes is being held without bond, and has a first appearance scheduled for Friday, June 30th.

SHELBY, N.C. — Shelby Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Sunday evening.
Investigators say Jimmy Robbs Jr. was shot on Suttle Street in Shelby just before 8:30pm. Someone rushed Robbs to a nearby hospital shortly after the shooting where police say he died from his injuries.
The suspect, 26-year-old Davaughia O’Bryant Snipes, is still on the run. Police say warrants have been signed for his arrest. Anyone with information on Snipes whereabouts is asked to call 911.
