GRANITE FALLS, NC — Deputies have arrested and charged a mother in connection to the death of her 12-month-old son.
Heather Brewer, 25, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
Investigators say an abuse report was filed on June 28th and the child died from injuries at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte on the 29th. Officials have not released any further details about the case.
Brewer is currently being held under a $1 million secure bond.
