JACKSON COUNTY, T.N. — Forty people were rescued and one woman is still missing after rising water caused dozens of swimmers to be trapped at a waterfall in Tennessee.
Officials say the water rose approximately three feet in three minutes at Cummins Falls State Park in Jackson County, Tennessee Wednesday afternoon after storms moved through the area.
A helicopter was called in to assist with the rescues. Β The Upper Cumberland Reporter gave WCCB access to exclusiveΒ video of the rescues.
A 73-year-old woman is still missing. Β The park remains closed as crews work to locate the missing woman.
