HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Police will be enforcing a new curfew for kids and teens under the age of 16.
The warning was postedΒ by Huntersville police on Facebook saying this is an effort to crackdown on kids hanging around Birkdale Village late at night.
Ages 13 through 15 have to be in by 11 p.m. at night if they’re not with an adult, while kids 12 and under have to be in by 10 p.m.
Parents could face a $50 fine or jail time if they let their kid go out after the curfew.
