Charlotte Is One Month Away From Their First PGA Championship
CHARLOTTE, NC — The PGA Championship is just one month away from coming to Charlotte and preparations are in full swing.
Organizers at the Quail Hollow Club in south Charlotte are preparing for the event that is expected to bring over 200,000 people to the area. The course is undergoing improvements, which include new grass on all 18 greens.
Tickets to the event are on sale. The championship director says any adult who purchases a ticket can bring in four juniors for free.
The championship is also expected to make a huge economic impact on the city by bringing in upwards of $100 million.
