State Dismisses Charges For Man Accused Of Committing Two Robberies In East Charlotte

UPDATE: Prosecutors say charges related to the robbery of two east Charlotte Quick Trips have been dropped against David Thomas.

According to court documents, the State says they do not have sufficient evidence to meet the burden of truth beyond a reasonable doubt. Prosecutors say a lack of evidence, definitive witness descriptions of the suspect, and conflicting alibis led to the decision.
