Police Arrest Suspect Wanted In Stonecrest Robbery

UPDATE: Police have arrested 32-year-old Katherine Ferry for allegedly robbing two girls with a box cutter at Stonecrest Shopping Center on June 26th.

Ferry is charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are still looking for a suspect after two girls were robbed at knife-point in the parking lot of a popular South Charlotte shopping center.

According to reports, the robbery happened around 6pm Monday in the Wendy’s parking lot at Stonecrest off of Rea Road. Police say the suspect got away with cash.

Another teen was robbed around 8pm last week as he was leaving the Target at Stonecrest.

A crime map of the area show 25 incidents within a half-mile of that shopping center since May 1st.
