EDGE On The Clock: Suit Filed Over President Trump Blocking Critics On Twitter
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia has filed a lawsuit against President Trump for blocking critics on his Twitter account.
The group claims that the president’s account is basically a public forum since he tweets about policy issues. At least 40 people say they have been blocked, including a group called Vote Vets and author Stephen King.
The suit also names White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and White House Social Media Director Dan Scavino.
