CHARLOTTE, NC — With scorching temperatures outside, many families are spending more time at the pool.
But according to the CDC, about 10 people die in the country from unintentional drowning each day. And a simple cough after getting out of the water could potentially mean your child is in danger.
Novant Health pediatrician Dr. Erin Washburn, from Novant Health Pediatrics Arboretum says parents need to be aware of something called dry drowning.
