CHARLOTTE, NC – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the ramp from I-40 West to I-77 South (Exit 152) in Statesville, starting at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 16, weather permitting.
The ramp closure is scheduled to last 10 days for crews to safely complete paving and drainage work.
There will be a detour in place during the closure, as westbound motorists will continue to U.S. 21 (Exit 151), turn left to go under I-40, turn left again to I-40 East to follow back to I-77 South.
