Gastonia Police Arrest Three Teens for First Degree Murder, Search Continues for Fourth

GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia Police Department has arrested Jonqae Delshun Griggs, Dawan Altarqi Myers, Jahqualyn Travis Leontray and charged them with 1 st Degree Murder.

A fourth subject is being sought, Kevin Davon Goodwin, in connection. A warrant for 1 st Degree Murder has been sworn and same is outstanding.

If anyone knows Goodwin’s whereabouts is asked to call Gastonia Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

Gastonia Police are investigating the homicide, which occurred Monday July 17, 2017, at 1200 Balthis Dr.

Richard Nathaniel Abernathy, 10/14/1996 was pronounced dead at the scene. The case is active and currently under investigation.
