2 Rescued After Flash Flood Partially Submerges Vehicle Near Uptown
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte Fire says two people have been rescued after a flash flood partially submerged their SUV near Uptown Tuesday night.
The incident happened as severe thunderstorms pushed through Charlotte. Officials say the two men became stranded in about four feet of water on E. 16th Street at North Tryon Street around 9:30pm.
No one was injured.
