Lincoln County Drug Investigations Lead To Two Arrests
LINCOLNTON, NC — Two suspects are in custody after deputies conducted two separate investigations into marijuana sales in southern and eastern Lincoln County.
According to reports, undercover detectives made several marijuana purchases from Zachary Hoyle, 31, in Iron Station and Caleb Staley, 22, in Lincolnton during the investigation. The investigation began after deputies say they were tipped off to drug activity involving the two suspects.
Deputies say the two cases are not related.
Hoyle is charged with three felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, and Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
Staley is charged with three felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI controlled substance.
