The Carolina Theater Is Making A Comeback

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Carolina Theater is returning to Uptown Charlotte with a new high-end hotel on top.

City Council voted Monday night to approve a request for $4.5 million needed to complete the project.

The refurbished theater and hotel are expected to generate almost $4 million in annual tax revenues once completed.
