CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old man in connection to a break-in at a west Charlotte Metro PCS.
According to reports, Nakema Peterson was arrested shortly after 4:30am Monday. Officers say they heard a loud crash in the 3100 block of Freedom Drive during patrol and spotted him walking nearby with multiple bags.
Peterson had several Metro PCS bags and a ski mask, according to CMPD, and the Metro PCS store nearby had a broken front door.
Peterson, who police say is a repeat offender, has been charged with Felony Breaking or Entering, Larceny after Breaking or Entering, Possession of Stolen Goods, Possession of Firearm by Felon, Felony possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
