Two Suspects Arrested In Connection To Multiple Break-Ins And Thefts

UPDATE: Deputies say Dustin Owensby and Trisha Foster were both arrested during a traffic stop in Mooresville Tuesday.

Owensby is being held under a $75,000 secured bond, and Foster is being held under a $20,000 secured bond.

Officials say additional charges will be filed against each suspect.

ROWAN COUNTY, NC — Multiple felony warrants have been issued for a man and woman accused of thefts, break-ins, and vehicle larcenies.

Deputies say warrants have been issued for 29-year-old Dustin Owensby in an investigation that spans multiple jurisdictions. Owensby is wanted for theft, breaking into vehicles, homes, and stealing a vehicle.

According to officials, Owensby is being helped in the crimes by 27-year-old Trisha Foster.

Both Owensby and Foster are charged with felony Motor Vehicle Larceny, Breaking, Entering and Larceny, and Financial Card Theft. Owensby also faces an additional Forgery charge. Both suspects have been placed on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted.

Owensby is described as a white male, 6’1″, 220 lbs, and is believed to be in the Mooresville area. Foster is a white female, 5’5″, 120 lbs, and was last seen in Statesville.

Statesville Police and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office also have warrants for Owensby, according to officials, and more charges are expected.
