A Tragic Ohio Fair Ride Accident Has Some Riders Thinking Twice

CHARLOTTE, NC — Some of the rides at the Ohio State Fair have reopened after a ride broke apart Wednesday, killing one person.

Investigators say they still don’t know what caused an entire row of seats to come off throwing an 18-year-old, newly enlisted Marine about 50 feet. Inspection reports show the ride passed multiple inspections before the accident.

Tonight, the EDGE panel is weighing in and asking whether you ride carnival or fair rides.
