The Selfie Is So Yesterday, So First… Let Me Take A ‘Plandid!’

CHARLOTTE, NC — The ‘plandid,’ a combination of planned and candid shots, is the hot new craze this summer.

The idea is that you’ve been “caught” looking good, and just happen to always be posing. Some people look at the sky, others at the ground, or even in mid-movement.

While nobody knows for sure who came up with the term ‘plandid,’ more than 700 pictures have been posted to Instagram using that hashtag.
