It’s a dilemma that a lot of women are dealing with … balancing being a mom and work life. Less than a day into her new job as the leader of New Zealand’s opposition Jacinda Arden was asked twice about her decision whether or not to have kids.

Arden said, she decided she would talk about it, but that it was “totally unacceptable” to ask a woman that in the workplace.

Her critics say, employers have a right to know so they can allow the time for the moms to take leave.
