Final Suspect Wanted In Lancaster County Shooting Turn Himself In

LANCASTER, SC — Deputies say the third suspect wanted for shooting a woman multiple times during a dispute has turned himself in.

Foresio Jones, 24, turned himself in Thursday night according to deputies. He was wanted for allegedly shooting a 21-year-old female on Melton Park Circle around 7pm on July 19th.

Jones has been charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime. He was denied bond during a court appearance Friday morning.

Deputies say the shooting happened during a fight between several women at that location.

According to witnesses, the women met, argued, and then got into a physical fight. A gun was then pulled, deputies say, and multiple shots were fired. The woman was hit several times and taken to Springs Memorial Hospital in a personal vehicle. Deputies say her injuries are non-life threatening.

After the shooting, witnesses say Jones took off in a 2007 silver Lexus SUV with two other people. Deputies say shots were fired at the Lexus, but no one inside was hit.

Deputies say the Lexus was found parked at a home on Carnes Alley and seized by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies also charged 19-year-old Lewis Johnson, Jr. and 18-year-old Zion Twitty in the incident.

Johnson is charged with three counts of Attempted Murder and one count Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime. Deputies say he fired the shots at the Lexus as it was leaving the scene.

Twitty is charged with Possession of a Stolen Pistol. According to reports, Johnson got the gun he used to shoot at the Lexus from Twitty. However, that same gun had been reported stolen during a burglary in Lancaster County earlier this year.
