CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four people were detained after a person was shot in northeast Charlotte.
The shooting occurred in front of some town homes on Broke Branch Road around 8:30 p.m., Saturday night.
Police say an argument between two people over the course of the day eventually led to the shooting.
The victim was shot in the leg and treated at Carolinas Medical Center-Main with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other three people involved in the shooting fled the scene but were identified and detained shortly thereafter.
The case is still under investigation.
